Ali Stoner is an actor originally from Virginia.

She has worked with Academy Award, Tony, Obie, Drama Desk, and Grammy winners, and she’s collaborated on productions/workshops at The American Repertory Theatre, The Moscow Art Theatre, The Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Playwrights Realm, Dixon Place, The Barn Arts Collective, and Ensemble Studio Theatre, among others.

Ali has also worked as a choreographer or choreographer’s assistant on multiple projects, including pieces directed by Michael Greif and Alex Timbers.

She is a founding member of The Hummm, a collective that makes magical, image-based, non-linear theatre. The group’s mission is to disrupt preconceived notions about the avant-garde (as boring, pretentious, or inaccessible) by working in improv-based and playful forms that purposefully democratize the experimental.

Her commercial and voiceover work includes projects for high-profile brands such as Revlon, Band-Aid, Fiat, Hilton, Grand Hyatt, Snickers, and more.

Ali holds a BA from The University of Virginia and an MFA from the American Repertory Theatre/Moscow Art Theatre’s Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University.
